Every day we rely on our dedicated volunteers to help fulfill our mission. As such, we strive to make your volunteer experience as rewarding as possible. Volunteer tasks include hosting the Pet Pantry, donation pick up, event support, social media and community outreach. Please note that our volunteers develop programs, events and fundraising (both in person and social media) - we support and help fund the financial needs of the Douglas County Animal Shelter, Pet Pantry, Spay and Neuter, and pet parents in the county. We do not work directly with the animals in the shelter.
